The Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) serves as the main law enforcement agency for unincorporated areas of Lee County, as well as Bonita Springs, Estero, and Fort Myers Beach. While deputies focus on these areas, they also support police efforts in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and Sanibel when needed since they hold jurisdiction across the entire county.

In addition to patrol and public safety, LCSO also manages the county’s jail system and provides courtroom security. The department is made up of experienced people from around the county working to protect and serve over 7,000 people.
